Tap is one of the top three most recognised dance styles around the globe! The art form makes a distinctive contribution in educating all dance pupils in developing an understanding of rhythm, a sense of performance and an appreciation of a variety of musical styles. It is Miss Natasha's aim to keep the genre current and to share the style with as many students as possible! 

 

​Nova School of Dance follows the I.S.T.D graded syllabus and offers Grades 1 - Intermediate level classes. Students are placed in appropriate classes not specifically based on the age but ability of the student, which is down to the discretion of the teacher. For students to follow the grades are a great way to track progression whilst working towards something, setting individual and group goals! There is also an option to take part in I.S.T.D Examinations, however this is dependent on the students/class ability and commitment. ​
